How do I load photos?

I'm figuring out how to post pix and I'm stuck with how to property apply the [large], [medium], [small] tags.

Can someone give me an example using the one below (310859)?

Where would I insert the "[large]" tag to show this cover as large?

I'm new to the forums so take this with a grain of salt. I successfully uploaded some front covers yesterday, example below.

I don't think you need to worry about the size tag, just upload your cover to the appropriate cover (front/back/spine/slip etc). Uncheck the keep and crop buttons if uploading something new.

Try it. I don't think it immediately posts, perhaps it has to be reviewed and validated by a moderator.

Thanks, but that’s not what I’m referring to. I’m not uploading anything. Just using the picture from the product pages URL to show in my post. Apparently there’s a way to state the size you want displayed but can’t find how to apply the tags. For example, see post #153. Thanks.

Tested it successfully above (if I'm reading you correctly this time )

Copy the image address of the thumbnail of the cover from the product page. Copy it directly from the product page, don't blow the image up.

Then click on the insert image icon at the top of the message box menu. Paste in the image address you copied earlier. Near the end you'll see small/medium/large in the address. Change it as you see fit.

In your example, the wording is in bold as shown here:

Yes. For anything else, for example, if I have a picture to share, I upload the pix to my IMGUR account which I created yesterday, then I use the link to the picture on that site to post a pic here using the "bd" and "/bd" tags, which I just learned about yesterday.

PS: My next thing is learning how to post a link to a YouTube video which actually shows the YouTube video image on the screen, rather than a plain link. Still trying to figure it out and I'm sure I'll get there eventually.

Yep and that actually works from any 3rd party site, not just the image hosting sites. For example you can post an image address straight from Amazon, Discogs for other covers.

For the Youtube embedded link, paste the Youtube link into the "insert link" icon at the top and you're all set

EDIT: Actually just pasting the youtube link into the message body also works. That's how other forums like AVS Forum also work.
