Here's a few of my Steelbooks, mixed in with my 3D movies. Not the whole collection mind.

this is mine, i've added a few more since, Robocop, Robocop 4k, Machete Kills and Thor 2.

i love that watchmen box set, i've added the UK directors cut to it and left the DVD out as it's region 1.

rocky horror and monsters inc are dvd, i've got monster inc on blu ray somewhere.

also got the phase 1 suit case.

Thread's been quiet for a little while, so figured I'd bump with an up to date shot of my (measly in comparison to a lot of yours) collection! Apologise for crap lighting, iPhone + early evening is not a good combination!

Anyone know of any retail store that sells steel books like these or do these all have to be purchased online?

What country you in? In the UK you'll only find new ones in HMV and occasionally used ones will pop up in CEX.

I'm geographically impaired to give an accurate response, but from what I gather your best bets are Best Buy and Target.

The ones I've seen in cex look like they have been used to server tea to an army...

As.for the US retailers best buy, Walmart and target all sell them.

Brian, I want that Scott Pilgrim, I'll be round to steal it later

I've been buying my new release movies from walmart for the past year or so and I've only ever seen Man of Steel and Fast and Furious 6 in a Steelbook! But I have seen a lot more at target! Such as Thor 2 and Enders game, where did you guys get the catching fire Steelbook?

I got my Return of the Living Dead from CEX. 100% perfect. In fact that particular branch had about 15 copies of Hangover trilogy. Odds are you'll find a decent condition one.

I must be going blind because I can't see Scott Pilgrim in Brian's pictures...

I believe that's a Best Buy exclusive.

You've obviously missed out the huge steerlbook/metalpak wave that Walmart put out last year. They were selling 30+ titles all at once at some point, and also have nearly 8-10 titles on sale for ~$4/each during last BF deal. I'm sure you can still find them available online at amazon, frys, best buy, and walmart, etc. However, keep an eye out for May's release. There's another big wave coming to US in early May, and they will be available at most of the stores. Good luck hunting them.
