How do people feel about Nintendo always selling an empty steelbook with a plastic clamshell with the actual game in it?
Everytime I want the steelbook I end up with an empty steelbook and another case and it just sort of wastes space. Putting a barcode on a wrapper of the steelbook and placing the card inside the steelbook is surely better. Putting an empty steelbook in the package makes it seem like its just decoration or something. |

Why not just put the cartridge into the Steelbook and through the regular case away, if you would prefer it that way? It’s quite common regarding Games, that Steelbooks come on top of the regular case, I‘d guess because they are mostly only pre-order bonus items and it’s easier to produce both items separately.

Imagine that happened for movies. I'd have 400 plus amaray cases going spare. |

I’ve purchased a ton for other systems that have gone this route. This is not exclusive to Nintendo by any means.
