I signed up 4 days ago so I could take part in Paul's (cudzndrips) UK SteelBook Group Buys, but when I try to post a reply to let him know I want to be included I get a message saying I'm not allowed to post. From what I'm seeing here, it looks like I need to make a certain number of posts somewhere before I can post on the UK GB thread. I got the e-mail that linked me back to this site and was able to make an account, but I don't know if that means I'm verified or not. Could someone in charge please tell me how many posts (and where) I need to make before I can post on Paul's GB thread. Sorry for bugging you, but I'm an old guy who doesn't know how a forum website like this works. Thanks.

I don't know if this is related. I tried entering the Ghost in the Shell 4K contest, but when I put in a comment, I get "You must be an active forum user first."

So do I need to post 10 or 20 things first before I can enter the contest? The contest rules imply that you can just join the site and post to enter the contest.

Well, like I said, the contest page implies you just have to join and post. It doesn't say "Join now, wait 30 days (or some X number of posts), then enter the contest." I simply wish the site would state that more clearly.

Just found this thread and didn’t know about this. My first post i posted screen caps between the DVD and the recently released Blu-Ray by EUREKA of The Prodigal Son/Warriors Two. So I guess that will pop up if I do more than 6 posts from my understanding.

No, you will probably have to re-do/re-post the item with the Caps, etc after you've been elevated.


Unless it's changed with a couple forum updates recently I've never seen "Delayed" posts suddenly appear later. I suspect most of those are permanently shelved just out of sheer number.
