Default Panasonic TC-P55ST30 Pink Bloom

Noticed a brief (read: less than 2 seconds) pink bloom in the upper mid-left quadrant of my TV while watching my blu-ray copy of "The Lost World: Jurassic Park". The problem repeated during the LucasFilm splash screen of a Clone Wars special feature. I thought it might be my BD player (Penny DMP-BDT100), so I switched it out with another (Sony BDP-S470). The problem reared its head again during a screening of Rogue One 3D. This time, the Blu-Ray player menu was briefly ghosting in the pink bloom. Is my plasma starting to bite the dust?

I have no idea what it could be...but if you love 3D and if it is the TV winking out...options are very limited, and time is not on your side.
