I enjoyed the last one far more than I thought I would, so I'm down for this.

As for "Tha Slap" -- Does anyone outside of the entertainment press Outrage Manufacturing Complex actually care? I don't know a single real person who gives a damn. American culture is so bizarre...

The news cycle moved on, so did most people.

Will Smith made a mistake and that's it.

Many celebrities have had the same run-ins/trouble in the past with some form of assault on set (Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, Alec Baldwin (not referring to the recent tragedy), and others), and nothing happened to them because it didn't happen on live TV. If Will and Chris had an altercation backstage, nothing would have been made of it.

Here's to hoping they can both forgive and move on.

Wish they went more in the direction of the first one, or the lethal weapon movies. Let the title refer to their badass police work instead of infantile, groan-worthy humor.

Also, the CGI assisted finale was crap. Dodgy CGI has no place in a cop action flick.

Agreed. Neither did the terrible fast and furious post credit sequence where one of the villains is just forgiven and joins the “team.” Which should only be mike and Marcus anyway. By far the worst thing about it. All I can hope is Lorne Balfe will bring back mancinas themes again. Which was the only thing 2 was missing.

Who am I kidding? If the trailer for this one looks good, I’ll check it out. I agree that it would be awesome to have Bay return.

It’s funny, there isn’t really a way to make sequels to most of Bay’s films. Just Bad Boys and Transformers. I haven’t seen Ambulance or his Netflix movie yet, so I don’t know about those.

I suppose if they keep making these they'll eventually churn out a good one.

I liked Bad Boys 3, but I hope the 4th movie forgets the whole story about Will Smith's character trying to recruit his son to join his team.

Such a slap in the face for fans of the franchise, when
[Show spoiler] Joe Pantoliano's character gets killed off, and they just shrug it off like "let's Fast and Furious this shit, the criminal son will be part of the team because... family"
.

Disgusting.

And aside from that, Michael Bay would outdo the director duo in his sleep.

I like both lead actors, but haven't been able to get into the Bad Boys movies so far. I'll try to rewatch the first film as it's been years.

Martin Lawrence, on the show Martin, was sometimes hilarious.
Will Smith has been good in a number of action films.

I'd be surprised if they make a 4th film though.

Will Smith was completely emasculated by his wife in front of millions but Chris Rock is probably going to be the one to suffer professionally from it.
I have no respect for him and will never pay to see a movie he's in.

I'm not sure how Rock is going to be suffering from this. He's doing a sold out comedy tour that is said to be his best stand up material since Bring The Pain. He's doing the material in a LIVE stand up special on Netflix next month and he'll be paid $20 million for it. Not to mention the tens of millions he earned doing his show in arenas around the world in the last year.

Agreed. That is my biggest complaint about Bad Boys 3. The way they handled. Completely disrespectful to the character and he was arguably the #3 in terms of importance in the franchise.
