That cliffhanger really wowed 11-year-old me and my friends and kept us in suspense all summer. Seen some good cliffhangers since, but none have beat that one for me.

Yes, I'd go with this too. Although, honourable mention for THE COLBYS - having one of your main characters (Fallon) whisked away by a UFO in the final scene was epic trolling of the highest order!

I second this. To me, the show deserved a conclusion. My only regret is not discovering the show until two years after it ended. My interest in the young man who plays Jeff is how I was introduced to the show.

talked with John James about this "cliffhanger". To bad they never picked up this idea but I think it was only a dream of Fallon respektive an Aneurysm which she got in Dynasty during the De Vilbis era where she run into a car.
