I think it's one of the best trailer out there with trailer two.
trailer got me hyped up that's why the movie was so disappointing.

For me, each trailer is excellent in its own way. But I get what you're saying. There's something chilling about the Prometheus trailer.

Either way, and as much as loved Alien: Covenant. the best scene of the two films is clearly in Prometheus -- and I think we all know what I'm talking about.

Like the movie, hate the movie, whatever. That scene is unforgettable.

If those asterisks are meant to mean, "genius sociopath" then yes, I agree.

Of Prometheus? If so, I liked it too. I prefer the nice callback (music with bwaahs, that works, with the slow reveal of the title) to the original Alien trailer in the first (although the second did the same).

I love prometheus. I don't know that this is as good as prometheus, but it is definitely awesome and probably the coolest movie of the summer.

Didn't watch Prometheus, but I know what you mean. It begins with a C and ends with a N.

If we're talking trailers, I've always found the original Alien trailer kinda terrifying.

Love Prometheus but I can't believe how much they wasted Charlize Theron. For shame.

One of the best teasers with an awesome tagline. Man, watching that teaser, I got chills from the music.

Some of the worst movies have the best trailers. The Terminator Salvation trailer with the Nine Inch Nails song is also pretty dope.

Yep.

And not only that. When I saw it in the theater, ALL I KNEW about the movie was from that trailer. And that's obviously not a whole lot. By the time **** started to go down, I was like, "WTF?!" I was 10 or 11 and that chest-burster scene just completely freakin' blew me away. And it was such an awesome experience to meet the alien, since I knew NOTHING about the movie.

Jeez, was that a scary movie.

Well, they did have her doing push-ups, while sweaty, in her underwear.

But yeah, generally I agree.

That death scene. What the.... Should've brought her back for this and pretend that never happened.

Agreed. I can think of about 99 better ways to kill her off. That's one of my major complaints about a film that otherwise I very much like.

She evacuated the ship so she wouldn't die but still ended up being killed by it.

Also,
[Show spoiler]as a big Wagner fan, I'm absolutely convinced that there was much more to the choice of that piece of music than just tying together the beginning and end. I haven't figured it out yet, though. That could be me just being into Wagner, though.
definitely watch the making of feature. also check out the prometheus art of the film book to get some more engineer backstory that was dropped. read the Alien :Engineer script too before it was turned to prometheus, it mentions more detail of the engineer, human backstory that the final film glossed over.
