They sell single and double units, I have one of each to make 3. I also should note that I purchased 2 extra shelves for each unit. With those installed, I can fit about 675 or so of standard blu ray cases total for the 3 sets.

Sounds about right for standard US Bluray cases. I have several Billy's and Besta units of various sizes in the house. 8in and 15 in depth Bestas (50.5 and 75 in tall) and the normal 11 in depthx 79in ht Billy's

The single Billy have shelves approx 14.25in, the double almost exactly 30in
Out of the box they have a single fixed middle shelf and bottom shelf with 4 moveable shelves. 2 extra 'wood' shelves are easy to add for 8 shelf levels approx 9 inches in ht.


The 30 inch shelf will hold 55-60 std 12-13mm cases pretty easily and the 14 inch around 25-28. Obviously the numbers change with 14mm UK cases or Scanavo/Criterion, Arrow style cases. I can max out around 66 Twilight Time 11.5-12mm cases on a 30 inch.


If you really want to push things, you can switch to 8 moveable glass shelves but you'll have to add extra holes for the shelf supports to make the shelf ht equal ending up with 10 levels approx 7.25-7.5 in tall, but that eliminates DVD and some taller BD sets.
