Can you please confirm if the A80K 77" has a glossy screen finish the same as the A80J 77" or is it a semi gloss gloss finish like the 55" and 65" A80J variants?

Here's what I see the 77A80K has a semi-gloss finish that is very close to the A90J glossy finish but slightly less glossy.

The 77A80K looks a little glossier than the 55"-65" A80J, but not as glossy as the 77A80J. So reflections are a letting less pronounced on the A80K.

I'm hoping this translates to the 55" and 65" the same finish as well.

How much difference is there between the 77A80J and the 77A80K in terms of picture quality, processing/motion and is the big price difference worth the upgrade. Also, does the 77A80J look to have better contrast/colors (pop) /detail/blacks due to the glossier screen than the 77A80K? I plan to use in a light controlled room mainly for evening/night watching for physical 4K uhd and Blu-ray watching only (no gaming). I have seen the 77A80J in person but was waiting it out for reviews 77A80K first before i made my purchase but the price so far to me seems to not justify the newer model but i have yet to seen the 77A80K in person.

The differences on the screen finish is minimal with the A80K very slightly less glossy. Hardy unnoticeable when the TVs are separated.

Sony's A80K is moderately brighter and has slightly better blacks and color saturation vs. the A80J. The increased contrast does give the A80K a more detailed and better natural depth when scenes are displayed that have a larger dynamic tonal and color range.

I did not test motion, but expect a small enhancement with the new 2nd generation XR processor.

The A80K's built-in audio has been upgraded to include center channel actuators/speaker.

Whisper Status 74 will have a YouTube video up later today that compares the A80K and A80J.

A guy on AVSforums said he saw the A80J, A80K, and A90J in person, and this is what he had to say:

“No 77 inch A80K there. The road show was in the open place of a shopping mall, very bright.

My comparison.
Design feels more premium.
Better port arrangement at the back.
Bezel is pure black color.
Stronger speakers (50W vs 30W). This may not matter much if you use a soundbar.
It's confirmed using the new generation of OLED (as C2). Combining with XR OLED Contrast Pro, it has better color depth. I feel it's on par with A90J, but I can't confirm because they're not side-by-side.
It supports Bravia Cam for some AI functions.
It support kid profile.
I like the new remote control.“

Then followed up with:

“I think A80K is as good as A90J. A90J may still have some edge on brightness due to heatsink, but A80K has newer XR processor and improved 4K upscaling“

if it proves to be a big enough upgrade and you can wait it out another year the a80k may fall to a80j prices... I saw the 77" a80j drop to $2300 for a very brief time but I had to pass since I decided to buy new subs... I am still pleased with my c7 but I want a bigger screen and at that time the 77's were out of my range but now they are less than what I paid for my 65"... I would love an 83" a90j but the big price gap doesn't seem worth it
