It's a great box set. I was impressed all around with the quality. I didn't have issues with any of the records, which can be a problem with box sets.

My one complaint was the choice of using the re-sealable outer sleeves. I hate those things, so I switched mine out.

Book is still sealed in mine as well but I did replace all the plastic wrappers with LP poly sleeves.

These are some of the quietest slabs of vinyl I've ever heard. I'm commenting on this particular bit of good news as mono played with a stereo cartridge, and without the use of summed channels or a mono switch, can introduce some noise. That was not the case with these pressings. I suspect this is due to the fact they were cut using a stereo-compatible cutter head.

As you'd expect imaging was perfectly centered. Vocals and instruments were absolutely clear with a wonderful three-dimensional image. I'm no expert when it comes to mono recordings as I own very few, but if this is what mono is supposed to sound like......give me more, lots more!
