I bought this back sometime in 2000. The 2-track 12" promo of Dream Traveler - "Time", which was the opening track on Paul Oakenfold's 1998 mix-cd Tranceport.
Tracking it down was a huge challenge. Finally got a hold of the record company & they only had one left! ![]() ![]() |

I have about 6 Hot Stampers (some considered White Hot) (one is a Semi Hot Stamper) from Better Records. They cost me the most. The Hot Stampers are recordings that are found to be superb sound pressings.
The Hot Stampers varied in price from $50 to $175. The most expensive of these has been: 1) Joe Jackson Jumpin' Jive for $75 2) The Who Hooligans (Double LP) for $90 3) Boston Boston for $125 4) The Moody Blues Every Good Boy Deserves Favour for $175 negotiated price from $250 because of being a good customer Additionally, through eBay and eBay sellers, I have been able to acquire: 1) Yes Close to the Edge an early Matrix original UK pressing in EX+/NM condition for $80 this is now on its way. 2) The Moody Blues Days of Future Passed early Matrix UK pressing in M- condition for $45; but I was also able to win another copy as well in NM condition but I am not sure of how low the Matrix # for about $20. Both copies are now in transit. I am trying to find as much as possible my own superb sounding pressings to lessen the number of purchases of the expensive Better Records Hot Stampers. This is why I have a total of 8 of the original UK pressings of 7 of the best known Moody Blues LPs (already have the one Hot Stamper of the 8th LP) as well as the early matrix original UK pressings of the 3 best Yes LPs coming from the UK in EX+ to NM or M- condition. Right now not much worth mentioning, although I do have a copy of NIN's Pretty Hate Machine arriving on vinyl which usually goes for a minimum of US$50 or more at auction.
However I'm looking to snap up some of my dad's collection this Christmas when he visits from Cayman and he has plenty of original Neil Diamond, Beatles, Bob Dylan and Rolling Stone vinyl (original UK pressings) and I'm sure plenty of them will be worth good money, especially the Beatles original pressings. If he does allow me to have some of them, given that he no longer has a turntable and hasn't for over 10 years, I would only ever LISTEN to them and wouldn't consider selling them. |

Probably my most valuable is Eddie Vedder into the Wild they go regulary for over $200 on ebay. A lot of my pearl Jam later albums are pretty pricey. I also have Audioslave's Debut selft titled album wich is pretty hard to come by.
I have been trying to get my hands on the White Stripe Get Behind Me Satan, they have geen going for over $250. I need this one to complete my set of White Stripes Albums. |

Probably the Porcupine Tree stuff. Have a pink edition Fear of A Blank Planet (one on ebay for $150) and the limited release of Steven Wilson's solo (one on ebay for $200). Never really priced much more of my collection as I have no intention of selling any of it.

My most valuable ones are the ones signed by the artists I've worked with and they wrote their little funny inside jokes on them. Priceless
My most-priced non-autographed would be hmmm....... Distillers - Coral Fang, Limited Edition Karajan Beethoven boxset (1977), My grandpa has a set of Fournier Bach Cello suites, that set goes up to 4 digits on Ebay. |
