Someone asked that question on the AVS forum and sadly, I think you listed them all.

4k:
iTunes Movies
Netflix
Amazon Prime

Non 4k:
Hulu (I think)
YouTube
Vudu

You can also get 4k from Plex and Infuse if you bring your own content.

So the Plex app on Apple TV supports 4K output?

I noticed that I now have the incredible hulk in 4k on itunes but it didint upgrade my vudu copy.

The main problem I have is the volume is brokenly low on itunes now. Like it is quite for me even compared to the more modern Disney mixes. If I wanted to watch this movie I would have to crank my volume up like 30db to get it to even a very quite but watchable play level. I would rather watch a 1080p movie then a 4k movie that is nearly muted

Do you have "lower sounds" or whatever it's called on? or dynamic range etc off?

Swipe down after it starts and see the audio options. Maybe something is off there.

iTunes upgrades don't transfer out to Movies Anywhere. Hence why Vudu has not received the upgrade.

That's absolutely incorrect. Unless you're gifting to yourself, they do transfer.

If you bought the movie when it was HD, then iTunes later adds the 4K version, it doesn't transfer the 4K rights to Movies Anywhere. If you redeem a code directly on iTunes it will. My statement was for movies bought directly from iTunes or redeemed before the 4k upgrade.

no everything plays properly on all my other movies its just this one movie. Newer Disney movies need like 5 or 10 db more added and this movie needs like 20 or 30db added on top of that because its just super quite. Somebody just seriously screwed the incredible hulk up.

Usually when a movie gets updated to 4K, my iTunes HD version that ported from Movies Anywhere will also get a nice quality boost (Groundhog Day, Edward Scissorhands, Office Space, today's Jerry Maguire to name a handful). I assume this is cause the HD version becomes a downsampled version of the new 4K transfer. Jurassic Park on the other hand still looks like the muddy Universal blu in HD. Maybe it's a Universal thing.

Anybody grab 4K Jurassic Park yet? How does it look?

I just watched the first 20 minutes, and I will say that it definitely looks better, but nothing to write home about.

Does the transfer look like it comes from the 2d bluray ir the 4k mastered 3d version with the warmer colour?

I watched a little bit of it last night. It has the warmer color of the 3D release. The blacks are inkier on the 4K release. It looks really good.

I’m fairly new to the Apple TV thing as I just picked up my first OLED with HDR and Dolby Vision. I have a question, when looking at my iPad iTunes*Digital Collection, several of my movies (Harry Potter series for example) list as Dolby Vision, but on the actual Apple TV they show only as HD. I have about 400 digital movies but only 73 show as DV/HDR. Why is this?

Were these purchased in the iTunes store or redeemed through a code? The ones that were redeemed via code are the ones that tend to be a toss-up if they get upgraded.

These are all codes. I just find it odd that it says Dolby Vision on my iPad (which it canít support) but the actual Apple TV does but only shows in HD. Itís shannaigans like this which keep me in physical media.

I have definitely stumbled into inconsistencies such as those. I have several titles that show at 4K DV/HDR in the TV app on either my iPhone, iPad, or AppleTV, yet playback is still HD only. Turns out if I re-buy the title it will usually then playback in 4K. Annoying for sure and, like you, the primary reason I continue to stick with physical media.
