Same here, I have no desire to watch The Hobbit movies.

You can read the Hobbit in less time than it takes to watch the films.

I don't really care for the Harry Potter films anymore. I have read the books so many times that if I need my fix I go to them instead of the films. Same for The Hobbit and LOTR.

I do like Fantastic Beasts and am looking forward to the new film even though I would prefer they were books.

I hate the phrase "You didn't like it because you didn't understand it," because it's most often inappropriately applied, but sometimes it's just true.

It's a very blunt observation in general, not particularly the best one to use either if the person who says it wants anyone else to take their points seriously.

Everyone has their own interpretations which is awesome, but a select few tend to spew hyperbole or just generally troll those who has a different view. Not really going to take them seriously myself, I'd rather converse with those who are more mature and make solid points.

It's very rare that it's true, but yeah. Sometimes people even admit it themselves, which I think is a bit strange.

Shyamalan's best movies are Unbreakable and Split. The rest are either forgettable or just pure garbage.

Kill Bill: Vol 1 (though Kill Bill is intended to be ONE movie) is Tarantino's best. Death Proof his worst.

I really liked The Sixth Sense, Signs, The Visit and The Village, along with the two. Everything else sucks.

I do agree that Unbreakable is his best. Split is also one of his best.

In a perfect world, the tone, style and atmosphere of a cinematic adaptation of Mamoru Oshii's '95 Ghost in the Shell film would've been similar to the Westworld TV series; notwithstanding the wild west segments for obvious reasons. Granted, I've only just started watching the first season last night, but from what I've seen so far it seems so much like what I was hoping for with a GitS adaptation.

I like samurai films. I like many samurai and non-samurai films directed by Akira Kurosawa. 'Seven Samurai' is widely considered to be Kurosawa's masterpiece and the pinnacle of the samurai genre, yet I find it a bit of a slog.

I can definitely appreciate how influential it is. And Kurosawa's technical skills and Mifune's charisma are often displayed. I don't hate it by any stretch, I just find it goes flat often.

I like the film, but there are several better samurai films, yes.
