My biggest disappointment is that the 4K did not go for $10 on BF

I liked the movie though and will buy at 10.

Happy to watch a sequel.

That's a hell of a movie to learn on what you ****ed up on too. It was alright. Gore kills were neat, Saibot was cool, Kano was pretty much the highlight of the film. Somehow the original is a better film and that sucker is aged w/ the format it did.

Kind of just wished we got Enter the Dragon again w/ magic shit but better.

The thing with the first MK film is that it has charm to it. I still enjoy it to this day.

I feel like they'll at least try to expand on this one. The cards were against it but as time gone on, some have warmed up to it.

I could see them getting a different writer and director on board but keeping the cast.

Anything is possible in the streaming age, but I doubt it. It didn't make enough money, and it's not like people loved it so much that they're clamoring for more. Then they tried the series route, and that also failed. I think RE is staying in the gaming realm for now.

For anyone interested.

I kind of figured that there was restraints and major cuts to to this film.
Really wish any filmed scenes deleted made it to the blu-ray.

It's the best R.E. film we've got so far. Know it's been said many times but just wish they had stuck with one game instead of two. Otherwise liked it. Not sure if it will get a sequel or in a few years we will get an adaptation of just the first game. Story wise there's a franchise of films here of they will just focus on the right games and one at a time.

No lie, I've become crazy as I look up if there's a sequel or anything with relation to this film. Whether be an essay or news or something.

I just want more.

I don't know anything about the games. I thought it was a fun, unpretentious b-movie.

Same. The director hoped to adapt Code Veronica, and I’d love to his vision of it without studio interference.

I totally could see a Zombi 2 influenced version take on Code Veronica. I hope after Roberts finished Not Polly he'll be given a chance at a sequel.

4.5/10
The trailer predicted something decent added to the soundtrack with the new version of the 4 Non Blondes theme, but for me it wasn't enough.
Even The first movie of Resident Evil with Milla was better and still the best of the franchise.

Totally agree about the 2002 film, there's one scene in particular I think about that makes the 2002 film worthy of great shock value, was The laser-grid sequence. I remember being on the edge of my seat when that scene played. And I enjoyed the score that played in the background for that scene.

It was so good, they put a laser room section in Resident Evil 4 (the game)
