If you're trying to say that the first one isn't as good as people say, then I agree.
I'm still a Rian Johnson fan despite his batting average now being 3/5 for me.
I'll still have high hopes for a sequel as there was still things to like about Knives Out.

I love RJ's work but the dude must not know what a sequel is. If you have the same main character playing the same role, and it takes place after the first movie then it's a sequel. It doesn't have to have the same name or the number 2, in order for it to be counted as one.

There are 70+ titles they could pay homage to with the Blanc sequel, from 'Death On The Mississippi' to 'The XYZ Murders' or 'An Appointment With Evil'.

I don't see any reason for Benoit Blanc to leave the US, so...
