I messaged one of the site developers and requested that we add a section for the iTunes digital database for the iTunes extras.

I think it would be very convenient to list all of the extras included with releases, detailing their runtime and the quality of their presentation. This would help for films with alternate cuts.

WTF is going on with Howard the Duck STILL not being for sale in the US after it went 4K. I know a number of people who have gift codes they bought for it when it was on sale (to get 4K later) that they can’t use until it come back.

Must have been the diamond edition code, which is HD only. You need the code from the newer signature series to get 4K.

Question now is: if I get a Signature Series code, will redeeming it replace this version? Or will I have two copies of the film in my library?

Are the extras at least different?

it would be 2 entries since they are treated as separate listings. Not sure about the extras on itunes, but they are different on MA.

Final question — are there any other Disney movies with multiple versions? Or is this the only one? I’m browsing popular titles on MA and, aside from Aladdin, I only see one listing per film.

I'm sure there are but I only own that one, and MA only lists active titles when searching, the diamond edition is a hidden title now, will show up only if you own it, or do a google search for the page.

Does the “Extended Cut” of “That Thing You Do!” include the theatrical cut in the extras?

Is there any way to edit titles in your library?

This whole "Almost Famous - the Bootleg Cut" is messing with my OCD.

It was mainly a general question about whether you could alter titles, though. I think it would be cool to add years into the titles of each film, personally.

Is it true that there are no differences between versions of "Basic Instinct" on iTunes?

Is Howard the Duck ever coming back for sale? Know a bunch of people that gifted themselves when it was $4.99 to get 4K after it flipped. It’s been weeks now and still hasn’t appeared on the store so they can’t redeem those codes (or they’ll get SD).

I was excited to learn that iTunes/Apple was selling Dracula in 4K HDR since my copy is HD, and I was anticipating a complimentary upgrade since I redeemed the digital code directly in iTunes back in the day. Unfortunately, my HD copy was itself a complimentary upgrade from SD that Apple gave out a few years back. Since it appears that there’s only one comp upgrade per account, I’m out of luck. There’s no option for me to gift it to myself, either. I’m pretty disappointed. Does anyone know of a way for me to purchase the upgrade? Or is there a kind soul who would be willing to gift it to me? I can send $ via PayPal or Venmo. Is that even possible since it’s already in my library? Much obliged for any info or assistance.

You can gift it to yourself to upgrade.

It looks like I might have jumped the gun. Everything seems to have upgraded. Very strange. But I'm very relieved.

At some point I was gifted the 4K of Pride and Prejudice on Fandango 4K which transfered to Movies Anywhere and Vudu but my iTUnes remains HD.

I wonder if hiding the iTunes copy and relinking MA could result in it 4K in iTunes.

EDIT - iTunes apparently doesn't have a 4K copy ... boo

Click on the movie icon and then click on Movie info. First line in the Details tab is title and that is where you can change it. Then click OK.

There is a way to change the actual file, if you have it on your computer, through the Attributes of the file in Windows as well.
