Default Eureka BR Discs

I recently purchased 3 blu-ray disc distributed by Eureka. None of them will play in my region free Samsung player. They load fine and a screen comes up that states that the disc is Region B and recommends a region free player. I have several other Region B discs and they all play fine. Is this something unique to Eureka?

That happened to me and it turned out to be my player went bad. I'm not sure what's going on if it only affects Eureka discs though, that is pretty strange. I have a few Eureka discs and they play with no problems...

No problem with Eureka here on 3 brands of Region Free players

A few basics:
Which player and who did the Region Free Mod

Which Eureka Discs are having problems?

Which Region B disc are you able to play?

Do you have a Region A only player? What happens if you insert the Eureka and Region B discs in that -- same message or something different.

If your player has a Disc Memory/Persistent Memory -- clear that first, power cycle teh player, put it back into Region B mode before playing any discs and try the Eureka disc first, then the other region B disc

Some Silversun-authored Eureka discs have done that to me (specifically with "Coming Home" and "Marty") on my region free Samsung player; I would usually have to reset the region coding a few times or shut off the player. I haven't played a Eureka disc in my region free player in a while to see if newer releases have done that (I tend to use my Panasonic).
