Man, what a stinker this film is. There isn't even a raid, great or otherwise. I bought it for Barbara Payton and she did not disappoint. She sings (not sure if she was dubbed or not but it didn't sound like it) and she gets in a fight wearing tight jeans, . Anytime she wasn't onscreen the film totally sucked.....

Black Belt Jones: It was an enjoyable hour and a half with martial arts and Jim Kelly, even if some scenes in the film were plain goofy. I give it an 8 of 10.

Default "Original" Leprechaun Series

Leprechaun (1993) / Leprechaun 2 (1994)

The original starred a then unknown Jennifer Aniston in her film debut. She was reportedly contacted for the sequel but passed on it since she had signed up for the TV show "Friends", which was probably a smart decision.

Comedian Michael McDonald (MADtv) has a small role as a rude barista murdered by the Leprechaun in the sequel.

These were the only two films in the series to be released theatrically.

Leprechaun 3 (1995)

The evil Leprechaun is back to now terrorize Las Vegas in search of his gold.

Warwick Davis said that this film was his favorite of the series as he felt that the director, Brian Trenchard-Smith, understood the humor and allowed Davis to just go with it.

The film's lead, John Gatins, went on to become a successful screenwriter and did Coach Carter (2005), Flight (2012) and Kong: Skull Island (2017).

Leprechaun 4: In Space (1997)

This is one of those so-bad-it's-good flicks. Not that the Leprechaun series is meant to be taken seriously, but this film is so way out there that it's ridiculous.

The best part has to be Guy Siner (of 'Allo 'Allo!) as Dr. Mittenhand.

The film also features soap star Jessica Collins (Loving, Y&R) in her film debut and Debbe Dunning (Home Improvement's "Tool Time" girl Heidi).

Leprechaun in the Hood (2000)

The evil Leprechaun is now in L.A. because... why not? Three wannabe rappers steal his magical flute that enhances their musical abilities and he wants it back.

Rapper/Actor Ice-T (SVU) stars and Coolio has an uncredited cameo.

It also features Anthony Montgomery (Star Trek: Enterprise, GH) and Daya Vaidya (Unforgettable, Bosch).

Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003)

Apparently the concept of the Leprechaun going to "the hood" was so popular that they did it again. This time he goes after a bunch of urban youths who stole his gold.

This was Warwick Davis' final film as The Leprechaun as he did not return for Origins (2014) and Returns (2018).

Features rapper Sticky Fingaz and Tangi Miller (Felicity).

Just finished watching The Phenix City Story: It's a scorcher of a Noir! Looking forward to dipping into this set some more.

That's a good one. I've seen Cornered, Phenix City Story, and Armored Car Robbery. Your in for a treat with Armored Car Robbery, which is a very solid early Richard Fleischer noir that might be only 67 minutes long but packs a lot of punch and there isn't a wasted moment.

Gotcha on Armored Car Robbery. Richard Fleischer plus Charles McGraw, as in The Narrow Margin, should be a great combo in this film.

I've seen Cornered on TCM and liked it a good deal. That film and Murder, My Sweet helped convince me that Dick Powell should be taken seriously as a noir protagonist.
