I have a Onkyo TX-NR656, 6 Polk T15 (X2 Front/X2 Surrounds/X2 Rears), a Polk CS180(Center) & a Polk PSW10 for the sub. What should I have the crossover for each set to (including the sub)? Thank you in advance.

Why not just run AccuEQ. It will set this for you.

The cabinets and grills on these two are in very good shape.

Is this a good value? Will my existing LF equipment fill the room fine if these towers actually only provide good highs and mids? I appreciate any input before I hand cash over. Cheers!
A pair of 75t for $150, yeah sounds like a ok deal. I'd buy those for that price.

To bad your out on the left coast. I have a full compliment of Monitor 70 series ii cherry , CS2 series ii cherry , Monitor 40 series ii , and 2 psw 505 I need to get rid of. I'm in Michigan.

The psw505 is ok for starting out. That's what I used for years, but then I upgraded to DIY 18" sub. What a difference! Nothing like 110db in the 20hz range. The 505 can barely muster 90 db at 35 hz.

Not trying to knock the 505 to much, it definitely served me well for years. You will definitely need at least 2 subs to fill in any nulls in your room, that goes for anysize subs. I need to start on my second 18" soon, I have a nasty null in the 50hz range, it drives me nuts.

80 or 90 for everything but the sub, later I can check my onkyo for what my 10" sub is set to

West Coast = Best Coast!!!

Bummer, I certainly would have worked with you on that equipment if it were nearish. Thanks for the input on the 75's, I'm going to pick them up tomorrow.

Anyone aware of "deals" on a CSi A6 and/or a pair of FXi A6s? Amazon pricing is already decent but figured I would ask.

As of this writing it looks like there are no products in the Polk Audio Direct ebay store . . .

Seems to me Polk would have more floor-standing speakers with an upward-facing driver (for ATMOS).

For the first time in 10 years I updated my system and went pretty much totally Polk my front speakers I went with the 70s the rear speakers I went with the 60s as I wanted floorstanding speakers And to PSW 10 subwoofers to Connect to my Yamaha receiver.
Finally for the center I went with the CS one I’m hoping it lives up to What I’ve read about polk

What's the difference between the Polk T Series and Monitor II Series speakers? The reason I ask is because the T Series is significantly cheaper than the Monitor II speakers. The T Series are less than $100 for a pair of bookshelf speakers. What a bargain!! I paid a lot more than that for my Monitor speakers and now I'm wondering if I overpaid.

I would say the T Series is low-end budget and Monitors are more entry-level.

I own the Monitor 40 II's and use them in my office for music and I love the sound for the price. I've only listened to the T-15's once at Best Buy and think the Monitor line is better. Both in terms of sound and build quality. Of course, that is all subjective. I don't want to knock anyone here who might own this or that speaker.

That being said, if you were upgrading your 30's to 40's, that is a good move because you have the CS1 which is matched with the 40's. Getting T-15's to replace the 30's would have been a lateral move at best and more likely a downgrade.

If all you care about is price then, yeah, you probably should have went with the T-15's.

Then I guess I made the right decision because that's what I did.

I originally had the 30s as my fronts, but just recently upgraded them to the 40s and I moved my 30s to the rear.

didn't know where to ask but thought I'd give this a try here...

I am considering the new top of the line polk legend l800 speakers which are like $3000 each or $6000 a pair...

sadly they are not available anywhere in my area except thru mail order... (closest retailer is 1000 miles away)... which of course means not getting to even hear them before purchasing!

i currently have the 80's polk SDA SRS 2's

DRIVERS - 2 - 1" SL2000 TWEETERS, 4 - 6.5" MIDRANGES, 1 - 15" FLUID COUPLED SUBWOOFER
DIMENSIONS - 50"H, 21"W, 13"D
135 POUNDS EACH
FREQ RESPONSE 12HZ - 26KHZ
IMPEDENCE 4 OHMS
RECOMMENDED POWER 10-750 WATTS PER CHANNEL
EFFICIENCY 92DB

specs on the legend l800's are as follows:

dual 1" ring radiator tweeters with integrated waveguide for focused high frequencies
dual 5-1/4" Turbine Cone midrange drivers
dual 10" long-throw woofers
frequency response: 32-38,000 Hz (-3dB)
impedance: 4 ohms
sensitivity: 87 dB
recommended amplifier power: 25-300 watts
18"W x 48-5/8"H x 17-7/16"D
weight: 118 lbs. each

ok - comparing those specs... technically which ones are better?
