I think she's Sasha Banks from WWE.

Yep, for a second I was like, ‘Bantha’s talk!’

I wonder if Sabine is a jedi or a force user at this point? Kinda seemed like at the end of Rebels Ashoka was taking her on as her apprentice during their search for Ezra.

I remember when Kaanan was teaching her how to use the Darksaber but thought it was said/inferred that she wasn't a Jedi?

You may be right. But the scene I'm talking about takes place way after
[Show spoiler]kanan dies

Seriously doubt it. George Lucas has already shown us that even those who aren't force users can use lightsabers, or for that matter, the Darksaber. The Darksaber was created by the first ever Mandalorian who was inducted into the Jedi Order. Just like how not all Humans, Rodians, Wookiees, Zabraks, Chiss are Jedi, not all Mandalorians are either.

I think people are reading too much into the finale scene in Rebels. Ahsoka Tano didn't take Sabine with her to train her as a Jedi. They were embarking on a mission to find Ezra, their close friend, and to bring him back. Remember that scene takes place after Return of the Jedi and that their goal was likely to find the Jedi that was trained by Kanan.

What planet could that water be on? With all of the Quarren on the boat it could be Mon Cala, but in the first season, Mando got a bounty puck for a Mon Calamari nobelman's son. Greef said he was hiding out in the ocean dunes of Karnac. Mando could be trying to earn some cash. I suppose it could also be Kamino, and that could be where we see Temuera Morrison. Doctor Pershing did have a patch on his arm with the same emblem as the clones on Kamino.

The snowy planet doesn't look as harsh as Hoth. That cave Mando is looking at sure seems interesting. It could be Ilum (Starkiller), or possibly the unnamed moon/planet that Ahsoka crashes on in the end of The Clone Wars.

That dark street reminds me of Corellia in Solo, but those street lights remind me a lot of the ones seen on Lothal in Rebels.

Those banthas are most likely on Tatooine, but if Jawas and sandcrawlers are on other planets, maybe Tusken Raiders could be too.

I don't think the hooded character is Sabine. Why wouldn't she be wearing her Mandalorian armor? The way the character disappears while "sorcerers" are mentioned suggests she is a Force user, but that could be misdirection.

The sounds at the beginning immediately made me think of Koyaanisqatsi. The character with one eye watching the Gamorreans fight reminds me of the cyclops from Krull.

Can't wait to see who's in those X-wings.

I'm glad they didn't show too much. I loved all the buzz after each epsidoe last season. Imagine all the talk when these rumored characters like Ahsoka and Bo-Katan show up. I can't wait to see who Timothy Olyphant and Michael Biehn are portraying.

I think the water planet might be Mon Cala. Doesn't seem stormy or techy enough to be Kamino. There's a fair amount of Quarren on the dock, which I guess technically doesn't mean anything, but I just want me some fish people.

I'm hoping the ice planet is Ilum. I imagine season 2 might be a little early, considering the production of everything, but I hope they can start using the show to tie-in (fix) some of the more jarring elements from TROS.

As for the X-Wings, the more I think about it, I don't know if anyone important will be in them. It seems like they might be responsible for the Razor Crest being all beaten up at the beginning of the trailer, and if that's any indication, Mando might make quick-ish work of them. That said, I'd love for a new character to be introduced via X-Wing.

I was surprised we didn't get even a single shot of Moff Gideon in the trailer. I needs me some Darksaber goodness.

I could be wrong but hasn't some kind of cataclysm befallen the Mandos since we last saw them in the animated serieses? I thought that was hinted at in Mando S1, especially with what Moff Gideon said at the end and that he now has the flippin'
[Show spoiler]darksaber
, i.e. some serious shit has happened which has caused the Mandos to go deep underground and develop this 'way'. Filoni being Filoni, he'll either explain it in this series *or* whatever SW show after this that he then retools to finish telling the stories he started before

The Great Purge when Mandalore resists Imperial rule. Bo-Katan last had the Darksaber before Gideon (that we know of).

There are a number of possibilities, but the animated series have made it clear that there are a lot of different Mandalorian factions, clans, families, etc. who all hold different beliefs. Dinn Djarin may just belong to one who don't remove their helmets.

Right, and with Bo-Katan having a role in S2 (eeeek!) then there's a decent chance we'll get some insight into what happened.

Those are the "technical" awards. Let's see how it does with the regular awards: best actor, best actress, best series, etc.

Simply being technical awards doesn’t discredit their achievements.

and I do agree, I’m anxious to see if it takes home outstanding series
