WEDNESDAY:

I have the night off after work and I have no idea what to do with myself.

I think I'm gonna get Popeyes.

I cancelled North Shore from Amazon yesterday and the order with Kino Lorber is shipping today. Amazon said I was going to get it in June. Kino said I'd get it by Friday.

Nothing... I'm at work doing IT repair during Covid. There's about 30 persons in a building with a capacity of 4,500, all of them doing remote works. I'm waiting for somebody who's trouble can't be fixed over the phone or internet to come by. I'm declared an essential service worker by the company, so I have to be physically present.

I can't make up my mind on going going to Lex. Is the weather supposed to be good Friday or Saturday

trying to finalize plans but I really want to go but my anxiety and worry is killing me about things related to it. Like do I visit family or what.

maybe watch or read or play something to take my mind off it for awhile or get back and look at jobs.

Just paid for another two week stay at the hotel we're staying at temporarily, really hoping we get an apartment sooner but at least this gives us a buffer in case we have to wait until the first of the month. Getting ready to return my rented Spectrum equipment now then back here to finally empty this place. Down to just a few boxes of odd'n ends and a couple electronic items which won't be going into storage.

Iím getting ready to head out to do some errands with my Lil Sis.
Yesterday after a killer walk we did, we stopped at a pub we like that has two patios. One is regular and the other allows dogs.
There was a super cute pit bull type who was sooo friendly. He kept coming to our table to get some loving and eventually, some food.
It made me miss my Slash.

I have sold my dearly beloved nearly 19 year old PT Cruiser. It got me through 19 years, including most of one pandemic.

Apparently Carmax thought it was worth $800. Not sure what they're smoking. Carmax also said the transmission was slipping after they did the mechanical check, I disclosed the other problems to them too. From what I've read they will occasionally ship out cars to South America and Caribbean island nations, but I'm not sure my car would make it...

And hopefully my Toyota Camry (used but in good mechanical shape) will last me quite some time. It has way more working room than the PT Cruiser I'm used to.

I kept one of our cars as long as I could as its presence held significant personal memories (family, etc.) until it just couldnít legitimately pass a CA smog check anymore and then I retired it thru the California buy back program - https://www.bar.ca.gov/Consumer/Cons...etirement_1000

Not sure if this or a similar program is still in effect.

Mine passes/passed CA smog but thanks for the link. It had no check engine lights either.

Heís not a pit bull type though. Heís Shepard, Labrador and Pekingese.
Iíll post a couple of pics in the pet thread tomorrow.

I just got back from the same pub and both patios filled up pretty fast! 4 dogs at the one we were at, including a beautiful akita.
My sister and a couple of friends are coming over later to celebrate my birthday with me.
Now, Iím gonna siesta before the fiesta.
