they had the guy on the news this morning in intn'l falls, mn and it was an actual temp of -29!!!

never had to worry about the pipes cracking yet, but there was condensation on them where they come into the house, so cold outside then the warm air on the inside!!!

I love how science takes a back seat to "preference" and suddenly global warming and evolution are a "debate" and both sides are equally worth hearing.
Did Al Gore get his info on the Earth's core temperature from them?

I'll see your links and offer you dozens of other fact-checked and peer-reviewed studies that prove otherwise. I'll also raise you several hundred emails that prove the massive hoax that is man-made global warming. But alas, this is not the forum for this debate as it will get the thread closed/deleted very quickly. All I will say is Follow the Money and Power. That's all you really need to do to see the truth in all of this BS.

Back in ~93, living in upstate NY, it was in the -20 to -30 range for days on end. You don't know cold until you step outside in temperatures like that. Any exposed skin starts to physically hurt in minutes! Needless to say, we moved south shortly after that winter.

So when it's under 0 degrees, and your bare skin is exposed you can get frostbite right?

I was at the Browns game on Sunday and deezam it was cold! The high was in the teens and the wind chill was below zero. It was worth it because I was six rows back at the 30 yard line on the Browns bench side! It was nice to see the Brownies win out a very dismal season!

a couple years ago here in WI it was down to like -20ish for like 4-5 days and windy as all hell and the wind chill was some rediculous like -50!!!

i remember people going outside to start their cars up 2x during the day just so it wouldn't freeze up on them!!!

that one guy i worked with had to start his diesel and let it run for like an hour just so it was warm enough to drive home!!

it's not instant or anything but if it's exposed for a couple min., yeah, it can happen.

even then, it takes a little bit. i've gone ice fishing in below zero weather and you have to take your gloves off to work w/the line & what not.....you learn to get real good @ what your doing and real fast!!!

Are you one of the Browns fans that didn't wear a shirt? LOL

I'm still pissed about that game! The Jags looked like they were frozen.

I mean this is not the first time we played in the snow. We beat the Steelers in the snow 2 seasons ago, and in the Wild Card game a few weeks later, but of course we were a better team.

We live in the snow.

Jags offense was frozen. A high school football team could score on the Browns defense!

My shirt(s) were fully intact. Me and my friends were ragging on the dumbasses that took off their shirts!

I like the cold temps since it's a change compared to 85+ degree weather everyday, but come on. This is too cold for some of us.

We have the AC at my office on for some reason and my hands are freezing.
Come on up here to Michigan and you'll be missing those high temps

If it's snowing I might consider it, but first I need to shop for winter clothes.

What? You never went? I've been there 3 times. RIght now I have 2 co-workers there right now since Christmas break.

It's hot as hell, with no AC in some places, and the air is very dirty. Blow your nose and you can see
[Show spoiler] black bugers.

I was sick when I was there for the 2nd week back in 2004, and when I came back to the states I was still very sick for a month. That's probably the main reason why I'm not going back.
