I bought an espresso colored chair at Ross yesterday for $50.

Now when I watch BD's, I'm sitting right under the tweeters for my front speakers.

I can't take the sofa's out of the living room, but this chair will do just fine for my little man cave.

Just curious, since you have an iPad, why did you buy a Nook? You could've used that money to upgrade your iPad And then you'd have both

My latest purchase is the iPad 2, just picked it up yesterday. I was lucky enough to hit a Best Buy shortly after they received an unexpected drop shipment.

I bought all kinds of crap this weekend, it was an expensive weekend, nothing exciting though...I got my fish pond going for the year, so I bought all kinds of chemicals, I bought some more study material for my next architecture exam, and I bought some yard maintenance stuff....=(

I have Kindle 3 that I'll be keeping and still using a ton after getting my iPad 2.

I'm a pretty serious reader and I can't stand reading for more than 30-60 minutes on the iPad's LCD screen (my girlfriend has had a 1st gen one since launch).

I can read on the Kindle's e-ink screens for hours on end with no problems just like I can a paper book since it's not backlit etc.

Other's have no problems reading on LCD screens though, so that's just an individual thing.

My iPad will be for surfing the net on the couch and in bed (hate my bulky laptop), watching netflix in bed, and shorter form reading of larger documents/color documents like PDFs of research articles, magazines, newspapers etc. As well as games and other random apps.

Good to see another St. Louis person.

And this weekend I bought a laptop, some clothes from JCPenny, and a wireless n router. I'm tired of spending actually. Income tax goes away fast!

You beat me to it!

But I'm a close second. You won't outspend me!

Question, what's the best way to spend. Is it better to send food or send money? It would seem faster sending food and water.

Do cars count ?

Picking up our new member of the family on Thursday :

Fully restored Jag Mk-2. My partner fell in love with it as soon as we saw it last week so that was that. It is a real beauty - well proud to now own such a stunning example of this classic.
