Well, there actually was an SD Gundam. I never watched much of it, but isn't that something else Gundam related?

Yeah, Doozy Bots isn't SD. it's a different series.

Similar, but not the same thing.

So...you were referring to that awful CG series.

Which was awful.

This is wonderful news! I recently rewatched Wing on DVD over the summer. While the show is kind of a hot mess sometimes, nostalgia just vaseline'd over any imperfections.

I never got into the other Gundam shows, but had always been interested. Rewatching GW piqued my interest further, but as the DVD's are all long out of print now (and fetching absurd prices in the after market), this is a great way for me to go back and check out the other stuff, while (hopefully) getting a Wing remaster.

This is great news! I'd been itching to revisit Gundam Wing but I may just wait now for news on the Blu.

Reading the article though it may not be for quite some time.

So who's going to buy every series and who is just going to buy their favorites?

Depends on how much they are and what format. I haven't watched that show in a really long time. If they are cheap enough then all of them maybe.

I'll start off buying my favourites, which will then, at some point, turn into buying them all.

My mind's still blown that it's ALL being released. Wow!

That's a lot of importing I'm going to be doing.....

I'll buy ALMOST every series... but not quite "all" of them. There are a few I just don't care for as much. Most of these will be must-own releases, though.

If it's all on Blu-ray then I'm in for First, Zeta, ZZ and Turn-A, definitely.

I really REALLY didn't like G Gundam. But the geeky completionist in me can't answer your question...

I would hope they'd stick to releasing stuff on Blu-ray that was made on film or in HD to start with. So Seed should NOT be a priority. I really like Seed, but it'll probably just end up being a shitty, overpriced upscale.

My main wants are ZZ, Turn-A and Victory. Stuff I haven't seen before.

I plan on buying everything UC related. My wallet better prepare itself. Original series, Zeta, and 08th MS Team being on the top of my wishlist.

They'll probably concentrate on the "easy" stuff first and release what's already available in HD (the newer series/ OVAs), but man, I'd kill for a (cost conscious) Blu-Ray version of Gundam 0083 Stardust Memories.

And I'm not even a Gundam Nut (more of a Macross Nut, but we won't see that ... like ... probably ever).

Yea I'm going with the same thing as you...everything UC. Plus I'll probably go for Wing and G since the nostalgia is too powerful.

I wonder if I should try and part ways with my sealed 08th MS team anime legends set now...since the price will probably drop...

Well it might be a while before 08th MS Team gets released, but I would say now would be the best time to get the most you can for it.

Oh man... I'd love to see a North American release of Macross Plus. If not for me, then at least as something I can give to my brother.
