I NEED to see that in a future Columbia Classics set, a second volume of this collection or an individual release SOON.

Legends of the Fall 4K could help sell the next box set.

Im tempted by this set, but since I would only be interested in 6 of the titles, im not so sure if i should bite

Lawrence is one of Columbia's crown jewels, so I can understand why they made an exception. They also issued a few different DVD and Blu-ray editions too.

Kwai 4k steelbook has DV which is absent on their prior release. They did a silent upgrade for the audio on the current 4k release IIRC but Sony never advertised that at all.

Who knows when Sony will re-release the DV version.

I've said before that Sony has the catalog releases cooked up for steelbook/DV limited editions. Buy them if you can.

A great price but if you add shipping fees + import fees, it costs 180€ in Europe.

This is a tough one for me as well. I did just order FWIW. I have no urge to split up the Columbia Classics sets even with what I feel are lesser films, because they are all either classic films or if not classic, entertaining in a traditional Hollywood sense. This set is more modern and niche films and seems selected more on how they focus on various social themes and issues rather than pure entertainment.

Only title in this set I really want the most in 4K is Run Lola Run. Still Alice, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Volver, SLC Punk, Orlando I do want to but not must owns in 4K. So I was thinking of just getting a copy of Run Lola Run on eBay but it's selling for $60+ now. So I just ordered the set on Amazon because it makes much more sense considering I would have to pay $60+ just for Run Lola Run in 4K.

I have been thinking of selling the extra movies I dont care for having in my collection too. It will be easier to justify the buy that way. If Lola got a standalone release after I went thru the hassle of selling the extras I would be disappointed but whatever impatience wins again.
