If it was HD when you bought it, it will only be in MA as HD. The iTunes 4K upgrade is only for iTunes.

Looks like all 8 Harry Potter films have been downgraded to HD. Hopefully it means they are adding Atmos or something.

There’s been quite a few that seem to of gone back to HD.
So far from mine I’ve noticed All Harry Potters except 1 & 4(UK)
Spider-Man 2 (original listing UK)
Ghostbusters 2
The Matrix Revolutions
I see someone say 15 of their movies had in a Facebook post.

Somethings definitely going on as there’s a massive cull on 4K titles at the moment.
The Dark Knight, Spaceballs, The Lego Move, 21 & 22 Jump Street, Men In Black 3 can be added to the list.

Perhaps iTunes is starting to lose its license to host 4k movies or that the movie studios decided to downgrade 4k movies in iTunes to hd and only offer their 4k movies on other movie service providers.

I see The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises are downgraded to HD. However, they still show as Dolby Vision in my iphone videos app.

Nah, I doubt it.
It’s too much of a coincidence with them about to launch the new TV App, id guess it’s something to do with that and all will return back to normal soon.

TDK, the LEGO movie, 21 Jump street and Men in Black 3 still show 4K DV for me.

tvOS and iOS 12.3 is out with the new TV app.

The following Samsung models should have the AirPlay 2, and most likely, the new TV app as well:
