Most modern games are made to conform with a D65 white point. And even old games look good on a reference display. The only thing that might have to be adjusted on a game-to-game basis is brightness, and you can do that from the game itself without touching the TV settings.

Going to return my 65 in C2 I got last month, Started getting this black frame flicker regardless of input and settings. Tried turning power saver off, tried turning VRR off, tried rebooting resetting etc. But it is even flickering on a static image built in the TV, so it's not my equipment.
Now question of rebuying a C2 or waiting for this year model or swapping to another brand. |

Use a lint-free rag and a little -- A LITTLE -- bit of water on the rag. Be careful. |

Only use a microfiber soft cotton cloth and if you need any liquid you should only use distilled water or Austre's professional TV Screen cleaning kit.
Austre's TV Screen Cleaning Kit comes with a very high quality dual sided cloth and a very excellent liquid cleaner that is 100% safe for all TVs. Here's the link to our webpage for Austre's TV Screen Cleaning Kit: https://valueelectronics.com/product...eaning-system/ ![]() |

I've found any liquid cleaner, even ones specifically for TVs, leaves streaks on a very glossy OLED screen.
Unless there's a mark of something that needs a targeted splash or something, I just use a dry microfibre cloth to buff. I've never been too careful about what I use though for cleaning fluid, since I'm not saturating the TV with them. As long as there's zero abrasives or harsh chemicals in them. When you say window cleaner, people here tend to wince, but if you're using a mild version sparingly (basically water and vinegar with little else) I've had zero issue on any AV gear for targeting cleaning of stubborn bits (such as cat pawprints and nose bops on a screen which can be a little greasy and need something to gently cut through it). I think the issue would be if you use a window cleaning brand with mild abrasives and harsher chemicals in it. That said, I can see why it's recommended NOT to use window cleaner, as that covers the people who would use any old window cleaner lying around and wonder why their screen's damaged. Does anyone who has a Panasonic 820 or 9000 4K player have handshake issues when you are playing a Dolby Vision disc when playing it? I constantly get a signal loss for a few seconds and then the signal comes back. The rest of the playback is flawless. This only goes away when turning off "Ultra HD Deep Color" but the TV makes you turn it back on when restarting playback again.
I am running HDMI 2.1 cables. They are certified. I also tested certified HDMI 2.0 cables and the same thing happens. Just curious if others have this issue? |

Just ordered the 48” LG C2 OLED from Value Electronics. Going from a Samsung J5200 TV I’ve had for 7 years or so. I was mulling where to buy it from for the last week and settled on VE today. A bit anxious and scared to buy something this big and expensive online but I’m sure if there’s any problems, I’ll be well taken care of. But man I am excited! I’m in the cool kids club now.
