Or they know they have messed up before showing too much in the trailers (such as Doomsday in Batman v SUPERMAN) and are deliberately holding back. The fact it's Wonder Woman is enough to get me watching; a decent villain is a bonus.

The trailer was fantastic from start to finish; nothing spoilery which was good and so many great shots. Gadot and Pine's chemistry has picked straight back up from the first movie and I don't care how many people moan about the 80's setting; as a child of that decade I am very happy to see one of my favourite superheroes in that time period.

This has me way more excited for the movie then I thought Id be. I like her lasso moves in this and I love movies set in the 80s, I know Im one of those people. With Kristen Wiig I think she will either be absolutely horrible or absolutely amazing and surprise us. I feel like there wont be a in-between.

For those who still read the comics, do you recognize the armor she gets at the end of the trailer? If so what is it?

As feared, Minerva will be the overused silly type character before her transformation (like Poison Ivy and Electro)...

Perhaps you could fill us in on the rest of the characters arcs as you seem to have one of them judged entirely from the trailer. She has a few lines which are light hearted almost as if it's between two people relaxing and talking like normal people do. Hardly silly behaviour.

Why does Wonder Woman need to swing from a lasso, when she can fly?

The responses haven't been glowing, but I don't really trust most folk's opinions on modern comic book films.

Dat grain.

YouTube compression stinks.

Patty Jenkins has earned my trust so I'm sure Kristen Wiig is the right casting. Since Diana is so powerful Cheetah has to be as well since otherwise it would look stupid. Reveal yet to come...

Why are people mad about the 80's setting? I think its perfect and will work great for the movie. Pine & Gadot nailed it in the first film so it is good to see them back.

Because other movies have dared to be set in that decade and people are miserable about everything.

Meh. I think some people are just getting tired of all the 80s nostalgia over the last few years. I don't really mind it. It is the least of my problems with this trailer. Really wonder it they brought back Pine to stick around or if he is just one and done again. That would be pretty dumb so hope they plan to keep him around. He is probably the best part from the last movie. Also did they forget that Wonder Women can fly? I know it is a fantasy movie but swinging on lightning looks really dumb.

Would flying make her look better in context? I think swinging on the lightning made it look visually cool as opposed to flying. Her leaping ability also looks cooler than flying, imo.

Don't know cause they haven't shown her do it but it is a power she is supposed to have.

But seriously to me that looked like just another leap into the camera. Not flying. You can even see her start to decline before the camera change.
