So we got home one day early from our short vacation and I'm glad we cut it short because FedEx had left my Seaton SubMersive HP on the front porch this afternoon. I haven't hooked it up yet as I'm waiting for a buddy to help me carry it down to the basement tomorrow or Thursday, I'm hoping it's tomorrow. My previous sub was the Paradigm Sub 15 which is no slouch but I'm hoping it doesn't hold a candle to the SubMersive. Here's some pics after I unboxed it,

Thanks HTG. I'm excited to try this sub out to see what all the hype is about, it's my first ID sub. I may try out running both subs together just to see how it will sound as I've still going to have the Sub 15 for a few more days. I'll be sure to let you know if I need any help.

I got lucky and had a neighbor help me bring the sub downstairs, so far it sounds great but there's one thing that's going to take some getting used to. The Sub 15 would really shake everything, even the sub floor. With the vibration free cabinet of the SubMersive the shaking has been greatly reduced. Now it's just really tight distortion free bass. I still need to do some work on the positioning and setup but it sounds great so far.

Upgradeitis has a hold on me again. Looking to add a second sub,svs pb12 plus or 13 ultra, or selling my svs i have now and getting a SubMersive to put up front. It would be about the same price wise as the Ultra and less out of pocket if I sell my 12plus. Still have a few months to come up with a plan but this an option for sure.

If anyone is looking for a SubM HP let me know.
I don't think my neighbor is too happy with me as his windows were shaking the other day when I took the SubM for a test drive while the wife was out.

After much deliberation, I have sold my Def Tech Supercube Reference subs and ordered the Seaton Submersive HP+/Slave combination for the front of the room. Pretty psyched to hear what these beasts can do. Kicked around between these, the REL 212, and the JL Fathom F113, but I kept coming back to the Seatons.
