Canada Se7en

I didn't even know Se7en was out on blu-ray yet. Has anyone seen it? How is the video and audio?

This is probably the Canadian version. Try searching the site and see if there is a review.

Be aware of the Canadian release because they framed the 2:40:1 image in a 1:78:1 frame.

That is the HK version. It is a 1080i/60hz Open matted version. Avoid. You should probably just wait for a US version (or go for the Netherlands version if you really want it).

From the screenshots I've seen, the film looks fantastic, (gorgeous wouldn't be the right word lol) Especially the scene with the guy in his bed, you can actually see how horrifying he looks in the dvd you can tell he's damaged but don't feel really that frightened. In the bluray just looking at him is scary. I'll be picking this up even though I haven't watched my dvd version lol.

Oh I wasnt trying to call you a liar. I was just saying that they are advertising it as 1080p, which is pretty messed up on their part.

Didn't think you were. Just wanted to assure people who were considering ordering it that the release was like the Canadian version.

Thank you for the replies. I'm not too concerned about extras, but I am disappointedd that it's 1080i. I guess I'll wait for the eventual U.S. release. It's just kind of frustrating that most of the movies that I really want don't look like they are getting released anytime soon.

I see that Breathless is finally getting a released. I just hope it's not a region B only or Pal menu release.
