Most of the time I purchase as fast as I can get it. But price, availability and "how bad do I want it" are taken into consideration.

Where do you sell them?

I sell it to someone I used to buy 4ks from eBay and he told me he bought codes.
So I started selling him mine.

I only two ways I buy on day one is for a title I really enjoyed and if there's a retailer exclusive for a title I like.

Just wanna give a big thank you to the poster (don’t wanna name them in case they don’t want other people PMing them requests) who saw this post and went out of their way to send me their slipcover. Super, super awesome of them to do and now my collection feels complete!

This brings a tear to my eye. Most members on here would rather just post a picture of theirs ripped in half sitting on top of their trash..

Only if it's an older more obscure title that has been announced of getting a limited print run.

To be fair mine are always pristine when I put them in the recycle bin.

Also, I do buy quite a bit of stuff day one, but I'd say the majority of my purchases are when there is a sale or promo. And in some cases I'll pre-order new stuff if it's included in a B2G1 free promo or something like that (Overlord and The Mule are recent examples).

Mostly for steelbooks really.l I usually try to wait on purchasing regular editions. Funny thing, before joining this site, I didn't care a whole lot about slip covers or steelbooks. Also my spending habbits towards my collection has also gone to hypermode

I've had the urge to do both, depending on the person requesting and their attitude.

I've sent slips to people before. Supposed to do it again soonish with Underworld. It's nice to put a smile on a young slip collector's face at Christmastime.
