Now, you probably could make 11 make it look like 7 as there are programs to do so though it has other issues, mainly restrictions and other limitations that previous Windows OSes didn't have.

Yeah that just isn't going to happen, a bios firmware update gone wrong can brick hardware, but an o/s is not going to do that imo. Been using computers for decades now and never even heard of that happening to be honest. And the poster can do what he wants but windows 7 is a dead and now unsecure o/s and shouldn't really be used anymore imo unless it is not connected to the internet.
