So if I don't believe it will happen, does that you right and me wrong? All it is is a difference of opinion. EXCEPT . . . Disney set the release date 3 months after the Digital VOD release date for Avatar 2. How does that relate to what he said about physical media via Disney. What it tells me is PM is not a priority anymore.

Just ordered Dragonslayer 4K disc for $11 and Babylon 4K disc for $16 used via Gamefly.

iTunes had a few digital 4Ks and I went for Maltese Falcon, Devil's Backbone, and Run Lola Run for $4.99 each. Most of the titles from the Sony Picture Classics 4K box set were on sale for that price.

Sometimes I really wonder why you are on a movie forum.
You do not seem to care about them at all.

I think you should do better at a business forum where you can show off your winnings at the stock exchange.

They ended up releasing City of Lost Children in the UK, so I imported it a few weeks ago on 4K disc. It's a great disc and one of my favorite releases of 2023.

I beg to differ. It's being confident in oneself. Maybe it's something you just don't have.

This isn't a "movie forum."

Can't you read the title of this thread?

This is one thread in a movie forum. I rarely see you post about movies themselves, if at all.
I do see you post a lot about money, profit and business decisions.

I have officially joined the ranks of region free. Finished season 1 of Gangs of London, and immediately ordered the Sony from 220 Electronics, then ordered season 2 as an import. The player shows up tomorrow, so apparently someone knew I needed to correct this flaw. The show is crazy violent, but it fits the story and not just for the sake of gore. Beautifully shot show with some of the best action I have seen in a long long time.

Being confident in oneself is a good thing. Thinking of oneself as ‘superior’. Something completely different.

This is NOT a "movie forum." This is the Blu-Ray Forum. That consists of movies, TV shows, documentaries, games etc.

The reason why I don't post about movies is I rarely watch them. My interest is TV shows and yes I do post in that section.

I post about financial decisions because I had over 30 years experience with them at the highest levels of Corporate America. When a corporation is looking to buy an $80 million dollar Mainframe, there are a dozen executives involved in that decision from the CEO all the way down to the VP of IT.

And if they don't want to buy but instead they want to lease it, the banks that I represented in such a transaction want to know the inner financial dealings of the corporation they are considering lending their money to. So I can read a balance sheet and look for what is not there.

And that knowledge and experience can be used in discussions here at BD.com when the subject comes up.

I used to be criticized for posting graphs and charts. Do you remember that? All I was doing was supporting my side of the discussion with facts - those charts and graphs. That's what I was taught in college and it served me very well through my 35 years as a businessman.

Can you be honest? Can you not see how many emotional posts with no facts behind them are posted in the many threads here at BD.com?

And do you know what the "fate worse than death" is here at BD.com? Being proven wrong. Especially if the poster is overly passionate about the subject matter.

How about . . . "I read it/heard it on the internet so it must be true?" LOL

If you are asking for honesty? Ok, here it goes. It is my opinion that you frequented another similar forum and for whatever reason, stopped doing so.
You then joined this forum and at the start of the pandemic saw fit to post weekly updates of disc sales.

The kinder members might say this is merely a coincidence. Simply bad timing from a guy with no motive other than enjoyment of charts.

I feel different. I don’t trust your motives and I never have. That’s my prerogative.

I don’t think we are ever going to find common ground so it’s best to just feel the way we do and limit communication. It never ends well.

Especially when people start throwing around phrases like ‘superior’. You really aren’t.

My Forum (High Def Forum) shut down. I joined BD.com in Jan. 2019.

Correct - first chart posted 3/13/20. It was my "job" at my Forum to post the charts and graphs for the sales thread there. I saw neither Bruce Ames nor rododolak were keeping up with it so I took over. Neither have complained. As a matter of fact - the exact opposite.

I stepped up - no one else did.

And as you know my feelings and trust or should I say lack of trust of you continues.

And yet neither of us will use the IGNORE feature here. Go figure.

I believe I am - that's all that matters to me.
