Why? AD has to be Lakers #1 offensive option. Not only that, you have to try and limit LeBron's minutes as best you can if you're hoping for a deep Playoff run - and if that's the case, you need someone that can distribute to AD and Kuzma, without needing to get their own on the offensive end. That's why the chatter about Kyrie/Kawhi/D'Angelo/Kemba potential signings should be considered ridiculous. Lakers need someone to run the point efficiently without LeBron, yet not want to use that time to get their own shot. (This was Lonzo's upside).

Rubio fits that. Rondo fits that. Whilst neither are the greatest of shooters, Lakers can use that savings to find a lower cost 3 & D perimeter guy. Or maybe even trade for one down the line.

I am hoping Rondo re-ups with the Lakers but depends on what the market out there in the rest of the league is and what kind of salary he is expecting. He did say he wanted to be the only player to win a ring in BOS and LAL so we'll see if he sticks to that.
Otherwise Rose might be good, you give up defense than you would with Rondo but Rose has adjusted his game to his physical limitations and had a bit of a resurgence last season. Both him and Rondo have gotten better from 3, nothing spectacular but decent considering where they use to be.

Collison and Kidd could share notes on abusing women, so that’s a plus for them.

Ricky Dicky is my favourite of those available.

if you think the ball isnt going to be in Lebrons hands the majority of the time, then id agree with you...but thats not gonna happen...ball will stick to Lebron and AD with all other players relegated to spot up shooters sitting in the corner, per usual

If ur gonna pay for Lebron u need to play his style. So i agree. Lebron will be the point once it crosses half court. He needs shooters. What exactly was Magic thinking last year??

That's an interesting trade... but are the Pels in win-now mode?

Wouldn't pairing another (possibly) great rookie with Zion make more sense?

We’ll know more tonight but i dont think its a rebuild. We would have dealt Jrue if that was the case. Griffin said he wants to surround Zion with a mix and be competitive.

the #4 pick is likely getting moved... will be interesting to see where and who you get in return....

who would you want with the #4?

I don't think the Myles Turner rumor is legit. Seems like we’d have to give up more. Covington is a nice piece tho. First team All Defender. He’s been offered.

Im hoping you take RJ but it would be pure Knicks if we hear...

I think casual basketball fans underrate Anthony Davis since he's been surrounded by mostly crap his entire career. Not a Laker guy but I hope they can make things interesting now that they'll have defense and a motivated superstar. Houston is disarray, warriors too wounded, nuggets still have a question mark come post season, the blazers being pretenders. good timing for them if they can get in the playoffs.

The fun has begun, NOLA trades the #4 pick to Hawks for their picks.

Who knew Solomon Hill was worth so much!

Bruh, Griffin pulled that off and Pelinka the Clown cant even check the cap before executing a trade

I think real basketball fans overrate Anthony Davis. He has always been more concerned about his brand and his numbers. He has not proven to make his team better.

Griffin is a damn good GM. Cleveland not keeping him is one of the bigger mistakes.
