My understanding is all of the "first wave" March 1 titles (Fox/Lionsgate/Sony/etc.) have been announced and there won't be a "wave 2" so to speak (as mentioned in an earlier post). You can use the coupon on any (DVD/BD) title as well.

I would hope heading into March we would start seeing the day and date releases of UHD blu with new releases.

I just bought Kingsman and Exodus on foxconnect using the above coupon. 2 movies shipped for 36.xx
It says Exodus is a 3D pack.

It's not a 3D pack, they screwed up on their cut and paste.

That's kind of the question, isn't it? That would show more studio confidence and support in the format than these launch-day b-roll releases do.

I can't really complain getting The Martian, Agent 47, Last Witch Hunter and Scorch Trials a littl late. Even if UHD's were a month behind the Blu, I'd be fine with it if we start seeing new releases. I get the smaller scale stuff probably won't be doing it for awhile, but I am fine with the major releases. This will be a little better than Blu's slow launch, and fighting with HDDVD. Even if a movie is not in UHD, I can still get it in Blu which is also perfectly fine. I sense a lighter wallet heading into 2nd and 3rd qtr.

I'm not saying otherwise. I just mean if post-March releases mostly have UHD versions releases on the same day then that will show a LOT more studio confidence than the current announcements do. If Spectre, Star Wars, Hateful 8, Revenant, etc. all come to just BD first, then maybe UHD later, that would be a big sign the opposite direction.

Mockingjay Part 2 from Lionsgate seems to be getting day-and-date.

Tried buying the Martian with that 30% off but it shows the 3D Blu ray is that not the UHD one?

Seems they did a cut and paste quick job, so it should be the UHD version (no 3D included).

Ok perfect, when pre ordering do they charge you upfront or when it releases?

I'm done with regular Blu-ray, with the exception of Game of Thrones. If they aren't going to release Spectre in a Blu / Ultra Blu combo pack day & date (or at least shortly after since the home video release is 2/9, which is prior to the Ultra HD Blu launch)...then no sale from me.

I agree with you on this. Smaller titles I can understand if they are only Blu-ray but bigger budget titles have no excuse. I just wish Universal/Disney/Paramount would announce something. I won't buy Spectre on Blu-ray and then double dip on it. It's also frustrating that amazon and best buy both are making it hard to find many of the 4k titles, they need to have a way to filter for them or something.

Source? I've been trying to get Blu-Ray and UHD info on this one, because Part 1 had a Dolby Atmos soundtrack and I'd like to know if they are going to do the same thing on Part 2 or limit it to UHD.

Based on an earlier post in this thread, I gave up on Spectre and ordered that and The Martian with my Foxconnect coupon. I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than a year before this made it to UHD.

Just an FYI, when I got my coupon for 30% off, it said that it expires on February 10th.

I have exodus in 4k hdr through mgo, its better than the blu ray but exodus was one of the 1st hdr grades and was served as practice. The hdr grading has gotten alot better since the exodus hdr grading. If you only pay 18 through fox connect it's not a horrible deal, but I wouldn't pay 30 for it.

That was why Exodus was one of my Pre-orders from Fox Connect.
