An actual 3D 4K disc? No. A multipack with individual 4K and 3D disc? That depends on how many spools of unpacked 3D discs are lying around.

Knowing Universal's history, not likely.

Also, I don't think there's any way we see any Jurassic discs until 2018 to promote the next film.

Double dip. They will probably release this asap, then release the DV version before JW 2 hits the cinema.

It isn't even a 2K upscale to 4K. The Bourne Identity UHD Blu ray was sourced from an 8 bit HD 1920x1080p transfer done in the early 2000's which was the source for the D-Theater digital video tape and later for the 2009 BD, by that time that master was obsolete by 2009 standards. I don't know how they even dared to use that master, upscale it and passed it at 4K UHD.

No matter how terrible the story and characters are in this movie I'm still getting it day one coz I'm a JP ***** for life and that ending fight, besides the HDR, WCG and 4k should look lovely on my tv.

It's about damn time they released the deleted scenes for the trilogy. It's been heavily documented on the internet, for ages now. Nobody is asking the scenes to be added to the main film. Just include them separately, as a special feature on the disc.

Also, the first 3 films need a 4K scan with the original warmer colours of the 35mm release prints. The pale blue-pink tone of the existing masters are vomit inducing. JP3D tried to correct that, but went a bit overboard with the orange. Given below are images from an actual release print.

Some frames from JP3 -

from other sources -

As you can see, the original colour timing of all the films were much warmer and consistent throughout the trilogy.

The 2D is too cool and the 3D too warm, I think we all know that. I think JP's nights should be blue though. In any case hopefully we get remasters someday. Not sure what it has to do with Jurassic World on UHD though, your pics should be in the BD trilogy thread.

Please confirm......is this all speculation or is there confirmation of UHD 4K discs coming? Are we getting 1-4 on UHD or simply just 4?
