Does anyone know if this will be exclusive to the Ronin website or will it be made available to other retailers?

Same here, with lossless audio, unlike the Severin, but I'm looking forward to the forthcoming upgrade.

Jesse at Diabolik told me that he he doesn't have a relationship with Ronin Flix, only with Scorpion / Code Red. That is why he is working on getting in this title.

"BRAND NEW 4K REMASTER OF THE FILM"

So...one would think that means it's a 4K release, not just Blu.

You think the small labels have the means to put out 4K discs?

To be completely honest I don't need UHDs of everything. A good upscaling Blu-ray player works wonders. I've been more impressed with many regular blu's than good number of 4K discs.

My new TV is doing a magnificent job of that at the moment, and I'll have a UHD player within months but I don't expect every film to come out in 4K either. It's just unrealistic.

Only if one is new to collecting to blurays from these small companies over the last three years. A lot of newer transfers are scanned at 4K, worked on and then put out on bluray. Have you even seen a 4K UHD from one of these companies for a horror film? The only one I know about is the Suspiria release that needed an Indiegogo campaign just to fund it. UHD's are insanely expensive to produce right now. The big companies can afford it, the little guys can't.

I wish that Synapse would do a Kickstarter to fund a UHD of their version of Suspiria.

Just got an email from Ronin from their mailing list about an obscure "one time offer" for their upcoming disc of Hardware.
"Obscure", because the link is region restricted, so is the product page. Living in France, I can't see what this offer is.
It's infuriating.

I guess I will ask to my friends in the US to look and tell me what's it all about and order it for me. But Ronin is on my black list now

Itís just a magnet.

Itís not available for ordering yet and Ronin doesnít ship overseas anyways (only US and Canada, although I suppose because of rights this one is only US), so I donít think they particularly care if you black list them. The only one who loses there would be you if that is carried over to asking your friends. Diabolik DVD is going to try and get some to sell for overseas customers.

It was a joke

Well, they don't sell overseas, I know, but still I can purchase anything I want directly anyway, without asking my friends in the US to order for me, as long as I use a US shipping address.
It seems for this item, it won't even be possible. I don't even get access to the product page which I can for all their other items even if they don't ship overseas. It's what I found lame.
What if I was an american citizen, traveling abroad for my work or something?

Black list, sad to say
(just joking, I don't really care)

(and thanks for the info about the magnet, you're right, nothing to be pissed about, I couldn't care less about any magnet or such disposable extras)

Non US citizens are now blocked from viewing the Hardware (Discrimination edition) on the Ronin Flix website. I was going to get it shipped at our office in NYC but now it's not a solution anymore.
I totally understand how licensing works, what I don't get is how they go out of their way to make sure non-americans cannot buy it. Getting a "foreign" edition has never been so complicated before. I don't think it's available yet though, it is still in the coming soon section.
Jesse from DiabolikDVD says he's not hearing back from them. I doubt he will, why would they deal with a competitor.
