Hate theatres, that's why I built my own. I always blind buy all my movies.

According to a Bill Hunt tweet 2 days ago it is not coming on 4K UHD. At least that's how I understand it.

Count me in on this as well. I already have the I2 steelbook from Best Buy on order, and will happily add this to the mix as well. The fiancee really wanted to see this, but it proved to be difficult to find the time to do that this summer with a 5-year old (who splits time between us and her biological dad) and a 11-month old who is not ready for movies.

Why would DMC put it up for preorder if it wasn't coming?

I’d be perfectly fine with it being an exclusive. As long as it gets a release somewhere (U.S. or foreign), I’ll be happy!

That doesn't seem right. DMC already has a 4K listing for the movie unless it's an exclusive but they haven't done any UHD releases.

To anyone who has seen this and has kids:

Would this be a good movie to take a small child who's never been to the theater before? My son turns 3 in October and I'm considering taking him to see this tomorrow morning, but I feel like he still might be a bit young, possibly for this movie or just for the movie-going experience in general. Anyone here have any experience taking toddlers to the movies?

Edit: Well, I just showed him the trailer and he said he didn't want to see it, so...nevermind!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Bill is wrong about this one.

It's quite a slow film anyway. It's made more for people who grew up with Winnie The Pooh rather than people who are growing up with Winnie The Pooh. If that makes sense.

Isn't he almost always wrong? I have a pre-order for the 4K on DMC and I'd honestly be shocked if they canceled this.

I'd also be shocked if this actually came out the same day as I2, while the Pixar Shorts Vol 3 comes out a week later? Weird...

DMC also had Frozen 3D available for pre-order at one point so...
