I just hope they will release them seperately in the UK, just like they're doing with the Avenger movies atm (release in September). I'm not into steelbooks, but have all of the 4k releases so far in UK slip.

I'd love to have a single-width trilogy box released in North America, but I suspect that's just a pipe dream.

Need this in 4K. This and the Iron Man trilogy will be great! Bring on Guardians 1 in 4K.

The Facebook post seems to be gone. Maybe the info was too good to be true.

So this is fake news? MY favorite CBM trilogy is actually NOT coming to UHD anytime soon?

Mondays gonna Monday.

Yes and usually if something seems too good to be true it is.

I am on the fence with double dipping on the MCU movies for catalog titles but for Captain America I probably would as they are some of my favorite as well as Dr Strange. If the Atmos track is serviceable I could see myself double dipping if the price is right.

After owning tons of DVD's and then double dipping on many for catalog Blu's my appetite for double or even triple dipping on UHD is very low. I have found with my Panasonic 820 and my JVC projector Blu-Ray upscaled to 4K looks really, really, good if it is a halfway decent transfer. I enjoy UHD/HDR and have a 13 speaker Atmos setup so I will doubledip for movies that I really like and get the proper treatment.

Announced too early? Seems a very odd mistake to make on 2 social media accounts, responding to questions and all.

Are these by Disney or are we getting another German type release like they did with Iron Man last year? If so I will not touch these.

I'll gladly double dip on MCU and DCU (not the animated stuff though). I'm going to be more picky on my other catalog releases though.

I’m guessing they were announced too early and weren’t supposed to be revealed until Wednesday. Seems too coincidental for it all to be one big mistake (multiple confirmations of 4K, Zavvi teasing the announcement before hand). Zavvi probably jumped the gun. They’ll probably be officially announced on Wednesday.

This is probably what happened. Especially since they only announced the Avengers 1 and 2 4K Steelbooks on the day they went live for pre-order. They'll get reannounced on Wednesday at 12PM when the Pre-Order goes live. They had mock-up art, multiple confirmations of 4K on both social media accounts so these are real. Just got announced too early.

Yeah, I'm not buying Zavvi made such a massive mistake on TWO social media accounts, confirming 4K multiple times (since whoever runs the social media will have accurate info to give people so it's not as if they're pulling it out of nowhere) along with a date and time for the pre-orders going live. I'm standing by that Zavvi announced these early and deleted the posts when they realised (or were told by Disney).

I think these are certainly coming out in 4k eventually, but certainly not for 30Ł unless that's each. In any event, I would get this set and throw the 4k discs in my 3d steelbooks for 2+3.

Additionally, I assume just the steelbooks will be exclusive to Zavvi and I'll be able to buy nice traditional boxsets and/or individual releases elsewhere.

If it's true, I'm not getting Zavvi. I'd rather wait for Best Buy steels of these shows on UHD.
