Default Django (Remastered) coming from Arrow

https://www.diabolikdvd.com/product/...ow-us-blu-ray/

Quote:
Description
In this definitive Spaghetti Western, Franco Nero (Keoma, The Fifth Cord) gives a career-defining performance as Django, a mysterious loner who arrives at a mud-drenched ghost town on the Mexico-US border, ominously dragging a coffin behind him. After saving imperilled prostitute Maria (Loredana Nusciak), Django becomes embroiled in a brutal feud between a racist gang and a band of Mexican revolutionaries…

With Django, director Sergio Corbucci (The Great Silence) upped the ante for sadism and sensationalism in Westerns, depicting machine gun massacres, mud-fighting prostitutes and savage mutilations. A huge hit with international audiences, Django’s brand of bleak nihilism would be repeatedly emulated in a raft of unofficial sequels.

The film is presented here in an exclusive new restoration with a wealth of extras including the newly restored bonus feature Texas Adios, which also stars Franco Nero, and was released as Django 2 in several territories.

Hopefully this one hits $15 on Amazon.ca too! lol

Seriously, I'll be picking this up regardless. I'll probably go ahead and grab the Arrow release of Django, Prepare a Coffin too. Should be a fun, if disjointed, double feature.

I'm pretty happy with the Blue Underground Django. However, I still will be buying this because I do want Texas Adios.

Goddamnit, after years of owning the DVD, I upgraded to the BU Blu a couple of months ago. Wouldn't you know it! But man, I gotta have that Steel - that thing is so damn sexy.

My only consolation is that I picked up the BU during a DDD sale for 50% off, so that takes the sting out. A bit.

Curiously, I also just got the BU Blu a couple months ago. While I like the movie, it's not high enough on my list to double dip, particularly since the BU version is decent quality.

I am picking up most of the Arrow Spaghetti Westerns, though--keep 'em coming.

Has anyone actually seen Texas Adios? I've never seen it, but look forward to a new experience. It really isn't a sequel correct?

The Blue Underground disc is a travesty. It's riddled with scanner noise.

I like the BU fine, too. It looks watchable enough on my 55 inch and I respect the movie more than love it.

The BU disc is one of the worst Blu-rays out there. The scanner noise is atrocious.

This should be a massive upgrade.

The Blue Underground Blu of DJANGO is horrible, riddled with scanner noise that makes it unwatchable for me. Arrow's release should be nothing short of a huge improvement. I'll definitely be buying.
