A long time ago, I used to like The Bits. But this underscores what some of us have been saying the last few years. It's pretty sad...he should just give it up especially combined with the whole "support the Bits" thing.

This looks like they are just bringing Doctor Strange in line with the other MCU movies by dropping the dvd and using the new artwork. I’m still hoping for a 4K release but this doesn’t look promising.

Not really. By now if you hear there's a reboot or a direct sequel, expect 4k release.

I figured this was a legit release when i was first posted but it still seemed weird they'd start with this and then move on to Cap. But I also don't understand why they're releasing a new BD of this one.
Seems like they should start with Iron Man first, unless they're going by time period.

Well, I pre ordered this just in case it is the 4K release. I will cancel it in a heartbeat by January 10 if it turns out to be just the regular blu-ray and I will never believe another item from "The Bits" as any credibility they had left will be gone for me.

It is?

The regular Blu repackage of Cap is already available.

I'm guessing they were waiting on seeing how well Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron sold before diving fully into the MCU Catalogue. Plus they probably want to get the more successful franchises onto UHD first before they focus on the less successful ones.

Sadly, we seem to have determined that this is a standard Blu-ray repackage, not a UHD.

(Meanwhile, Cap in HDR is still ready to pop!)

Damn, that's too bad. I actually like this movie (and I'm not exactly a Marvel fan).

An update on Disney’s Doctor Strange... it appears the SKU due on 1/15 is NOT the 4K Ultra HD but rather a standard Blu-ray reissue, however our sources still tell us that the film is coming to 4K later next year (probably along with the Captain America films when Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame are released on home video)
(lol)

Maybe I missed it, but when did they announce Guardians and Ant-Man?

EDIT: Nevermind
