I have the VHS, DVD, and bluray.....I will WANT to buy them in 4K, but after seeing the despecialized versions, I really want those original films in a high def format as they were released. As much as I love SW, I don't know that I'm going to be on the SE at release date.

I heard Elvis is retired in Boca Raton and is strumming guitar for a local church group, too.

You can forget that, just like I can forget having the pre-prequel versions.

VII?! That doesn't make any sense. Why shove TFA with the original saga?

Sure, it does- and for the same reason as including the prequel movies.

I'm sure these are coming eventually and I'll have to decide whether to upgrade from the regular BDs. I think I'm leaning not to, unless Disney decides to put the work in and really make them something special. The Solo UHD release was almost insulting, they couldn't even be bothered to include DV support. It seems obvious they'd really rather people stop buying discs and just purchase their movies digitally going forward.

DV would've been nice but, other than that, it's a pretty *ahem* stellar disc.

I thought it was a fine disc and I'm glad to have it in my collection. I just think the lack of DV was a very obvious cut corner considering the digital release included it. At the end of the day I bought it anyway because I didn't already own the movie, but it'd be a tougher decision for an expensive upgrade.
