Iast week i was finally able to complete my collection of DC CBM on Digibook, so i really hope Target comes through with a Digibook for Shazam too

I saw this one when it came out, I have a few issues with it, but otherwise I enjoyed it. I do think it deserved to make a lot more money then it did.

Watched this last night on Blu-ray, my first time seeing it.

Frankly, while I don't think this is a "bad" super hero movie, the wildly shifting tone from lightweight comedy to standard super hero shtick to outright horror makes for a schizophrenic viewing experience. There's little bits here and there that make for entertaining viewing but nothing that sticks even minutes after I was done watching the flick. I think part of it for me particularly is genre burnout and having almost zero knowledge of the character (I was strictly a Marvel guy in the 60's-70's).
