Default Transformer German Release NOT with Lossless!!!

Hi all,

I'm so furious!!! I just Paramount Germany just released the Specs for the german Transformers BD, which is due to be released on October 24. Only Dolby Digital 5.1!!!!!!!!! WTF????

Needless to say I just canceled my Pre-Order at Amazon. I would really like to know the Reason for this! I just don't get it.

I'll probably be able to import this one from the UK, but it is still irritating!!!

Sorry about ranting, but I had to let it out on someone ;-)

Baron

i would have thought Paramount would use the same disc for distribution worldwide... strange that they would omit the Dolby True HD, might just be a press release error

Get the American release, it's cheaper anyway.

Is it just the German language track that's lossy or all of them. Usually the native language is in lossless (obviously English for this particular film) and the other languages are all DD or DTS.

Exactly. The German release WILL have an English TrueHD track:
