The H4 mask looks so goofy. Can’t take it seriously. Reminds me of C-3PO in this picture.

The other problem with the look in 4 is the shoulder pad stuffed scarecrow looking suit.

The mask and shoulder padded suit are the only blemishes against 4 it's sad it's almost like Disney Channel Michael in that one, he looks so clean like he just had a zesty shower. He at least looks more menacing and unkempt in 5.

You know, the weird thing about the H4 mask is it never bothered me until all the hoopla around it later. 4 is my 2nd favorite movie in the franchise. And the mask does look creepy in some scenes. It all depends on the lighting. Like in Jamie's bedroom at the beginning. Great scene actually.

But it's all about director's choices. Any mask is going to look goofy stretched. That stuff should have never made final cut. Even the Shatner mask can look subpar under the wrong lighting/conditions. Nothing against Little, but every shot matters when trying keep the mask ominous and menacing.

I own the mask and it does look great in person.

The Return mask is bad, but at least they wrote in why it changes. It randomly switching to big necked Nicholas Cage in Revenge never made sense.

H20 and Resurrection have the worst masks.

The Curse mask is one of my favourites. Looked great with both the blue tint in Curse and without in the opening scene of H20.

It’s one of my favorites too. Probably my second favorite after the original. There are some shots in H6 where the lighting/shadows really adds to its creepiness.

Noooooo, RIP George. While the H4 mask wasn't perfect (and the shoulder pads didn't help), his performance as Michael was still badass. He was savage and creepy in H4 and H6. Always liked his interviews, retrospectives, and have some great respect for his stunt career. I feel like watching Halloween 4 and 6 now...again.

Yeah I've always loved his portrayal of Michael in H4 and even though I'm not a fan of H6 he did a nice job on that one too.

I think because H4 is generally liked by fans it makes the mask an easier target for ridicule unfortunately. Honestly, aside from the shot of blonde haired Michael, it's never bothered me. In context, the mask works much better in the film than some stills that get posted on here.

It was the last mask that was based on a mold of the Shatner mask, so it has that going for it. There are some shots where Myers looks decent in the film, like when he kills the sheriff’s daughter, but that was an alternate mask. That one was possibly the blond Tramer mask in the school scene after being converted to a Myers mask.

The Resurrection mask is weird. In certain shots it looks decent and kind of resembles the OG, and in others it looks horrendous.

How can any mask be better than the Mariah Carey mask? The Mariah Carey looks like the original.

How does hating the masks in the movie equate to hating the movie?

I like H20. That doesn't mean I liked most of the following masks:

I like the H6 mask used in the prologue with Nancy Stephens. They should have used it for the entire movie.
