If anybody knows why Ecstasy (aka "Love Scenes") is 90 minutes here, but the 2007 Unrated Severin DVD has a 94 minute run time, I'd like to know.

EDIT: Asked this question in the Severin thread, and someone responded that the DVD run time is misprinted, it actually runs 1:30:16.

I can confirm the 2007 "Love Scenes" DVD that I have runs 1:30:12. The DVD is also a 1.33:1 aspect ratio and a very dated scan. Having it in 1.85:1 with a fresh scan should breathe new life into it.

I will definitely be getting this as soon as all the pre-orders go up and I can source the best price. It's a little odd that this is a 3xBD set, though, when surely the films will be on BD-25 discs. Maybe Severin thought they would have more extras (or bonus open-matte versions) for one or more of the films. Regardless, I hope the encodes are good.

Black Venus was previously included with the French BD of Claude Mulot's Knife Under the Throat (Le Couteau sous la gorge) (1986) released by Le Chat qui fume in November 2020. That presentation only has English and French audio with no subtitles, as shown here.
