I put it on the same level as The Little Whirlwind because both shorts appear on this release - did you not know that?

”Unnecessary” would have been a better word than “boring” if you were talking about including them again in this collection. The phrasing seemed like you were making a value judgment on the shorts after going on about their reputation.

Oh no they are both boring but they both appear on this set.

Has anyone been able to redeem the digital copy yet? I am hoping it becomes unlocked on public release date and am hoping there are bonus shorts like there was with Runaway Brain one that one animated shorts Bluray.

I redeemed my code last weekend but the digital copy wasn't available until today (the release date).No evidence of any bonus shorts or other bonus content.

There is a content advisory, however -- CONTAINS TOBACCO DEPICTIONS!

Same thing, I redeemed it last week in MoviesAnywhere first and I guess it also redeemed it at DMI?

Considering they ran out of the lithograph (I didn't get one because of that) I'd say this title was very popular.

However, they offered me either a free Fantasia lithograph (funny because these were offered back with Celebrating Mickey in 2020 yet they still have them) or a free Mickey or Minnie lenticular. Plus I could have gotten a free spiderman blanket or bobblehead if I ordered two more titles plus Cinderella on 4K. However, the next featured title is Cinderella on 4K February 21st.

I thought this was supposed to be a Disney movie club exclusive however, Amazon is showing that it will be released for $14.99 on February 7.

Edit: read the listing again and said it DMC exclusive until
Feb 7.

Walmart delivered their exclusive edition with the pin today, directly from a local store.

The set is the standard slipcover edition stacked on top of a box with the pin inside, both wrapped together under a j-card.

FYI: The print for Steamboat Willie on Mickey and Minnie is NOT the same print used on Celebrate Mickey.

The first notable difference: The title card. In Celebrate Mickey, the title card is actually scaled to fit the screen but in M&M the card appears at its normal 480p aspect ratio.

I'm not taking time to find, if any more, differences, but the English captions on CM are in all caps while M&M uses regular capital structure.

Also, CM has a 32Mbps data rate while M&M's version has a 24Mbps data rate.

There was an improper copyright notice on the title cards of the first few Mickey cartoons. It said...

copyright Powers Cinephone 1928

...which gave the impression that Powers Cinephone was the copyright holder. They have corrected this on the new card. The Powers Cinephone logo is above the copyright now, not in the middle of it.
