I think the popularity had a lot to do with the Queen soundtrack. I never liked this movie either. |

Here is an example. https://www.rarewaves.com/products/5051892226820-tenet I don't know how it is in the US but over here it is even illegal to sell with a loss. |

You are simply clueless about the entire process of content capture to disc for sale. Again, clueless about entire process of video from a CDN to an end user. Clueless |

It has been pointed out, more than one time, we disc buyers make this site possible because we click a title we like which takes us to Amazon and there we purchase. When we do this Blu-ray.COM receives a percentage of that sale.
These anti-disc folks know they are not welcome here but they insist on posting here anyway. Quote:

I finally acquired Bullet Train 4K, (they were out of stock last time I spoke to you guys), going to put The Fablemans on my list and also Crimes Of The Future.
Really starting to build my 4K collection now (will update collection when I stop being lazy) |

I'm passing on the domestic release of Crimes of the Future, because Second Sight is releasing their own, which I will import. |

When author Robert Parker died, his estate hand-picked Ed Harris' co-screenwriter, Robert Knott, of the Appaloosa film to carry on writing books in the Virgil Cole & Everett Hitch series. There are 11 total novels and Knott wrote 6 of them (starting with 5th book called Ironhorse), with the 7th one being released in 2024. They're fantastic and after watching the film, reading the books, it's as if Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen are right there on the page, as well. I remember a few years ago Ed Harris saying that he and Knott had also acquired the rights to the second book called Resolution, but would probably not be able to film it, since the first film didn't make much money theatrically. |

Penguin at least you keep to the Thread and don't just throw out numbers. If you look at the YouTube Video it talks about the cost of making Discs. Veritas Box Sets are priced differently, and your pricing of 50 cents is only material. We don't have hard numbers, but $15 to $19 for 4K is closer to the actual cost. Yes some 4K's will sell for much less, but that's when the higher inventory has to make up for the loss. |

If you do math in your head and it comes out that a company release day intended profits margin is negative 33% perhaps you should go back to the drawing board. |
