Dang, I really loved this (so far). Who would've thought that Natasha Lyonne would have had the best overall career post American Pie franchise. Between Orange Is The New Black, Russian Doll, and now this, she has carved out a place in modern TV history!

I'm really enjoying this so far, aside from the dog storyline in episode 3.

I haven’t seen any episodes yet but they were using the same credits font in the trailers. Such a cool touch, like Fincher using the ‘70s Paramount and Warner logos for Zodiac.

Episode 5 is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. It’s perfect.

Fortunately in Canada this is airing on basic cable (City TV)

I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I do have to call out Episode 2 for the tacky product placement for Subway. I hate this kind of stuff and it's even worse here since it's much more blatant than usual and is key to the plot of the episode. Hopefully this is an anomaly.

Besides the first one, episode 5 has been my favorite so far. So many laugh out loud moments. My wife and I are really enjoying this show.

Even though I tend to avoid Lyonne shows, I might give this a go.

Now that I'm caught up on the show so far...what it actually reminds me a lot of is the film Nomadland but with a murder mystery twist in each episode. Diggin' it.

That was actually not product placement for Subway.

For the episode, production designer Judy Rhee and her crew built the Subway where Damian works, as well as Abe's garage. Despite the use of Subway in the episode, the series was not paid for the product placement. Due to the murder nature of the episode, the series asked Subway for permission to use their logo on the series.

I thought the use of Subway felt completely natural. If you’ve ever road tripped across the US, you may notice that just about every crappy little wide spot in the road at least has a Subway.

Loving the show so far! Yes Rian absolutely shat the bed with Star Wars, no debate there at all. But just about everything else he’s done has been pretty good.

Even if it was, I am never going to be bothered by a story taking place in the "real world" having real-world brands in it lol. That's way less weird to me than there just being some random Subway clone that only exists in this universe. The use of it here was completely normal and natural.

Only way product placement would bother me is if it's as blatant as a character holding up a sandwich and proclaiming "I love Subway!" obviously

I prefer real brands and things in movie/tv shows. I hate when they have some random weird product that doesn't actually exist. That is way more jarring to me

I'll just leave this here.

In regards to Poker Face: Amazing! Natasha Lyonne is a god damn treasure. She just oozes cool.
The show is so entertaining. Nothing too serious, no high stakes, just lighthearted and fun television without being obnoxiously dumb.

Latest episode was probably the weakest so far. It was entertaining enough and had some fun performances by the guest stars, but it just felt a little cartoonish with the way Charlie was figuring out clues.

They've all been good to great so far but episode 6 is my favorite to this point.

Most TV shows are dead on this website. Kinda shocked to see everyone watching this. SHe's fine as an actress but that voice and her whole vibe, yuck.
